Development
Goals
for
2015
In the year 2000, 189 leaders from around the world met at the historic Millenium Summit in New York. 8 Goals (targets) were agreed and set - aiming to be achieved by 2015.
However, in a recent report by the Un Secretary General Ban-Ki Moon, progress has slowed and even reversed due to climate chaos and the global finincial crisis (credit crunch).
