Bewdley Floods

In Nov 2000 the English market town of Bewdley (35 miles from the Welsh border) suffered the worst flooding for a generation.

But in 2007, during the GREAT FLOODS of the UK, the area survived some of the worst weather in over 150 years.

But what was done to enable this?
