The Flooding of Boscastle 2004



Location



LOCATION: Situated 5 miles in from the coast, North Cornwall, England.
The location is generally typical V shaped valley feature with 2 rivers converging- The Jordan and The Valency (the river which caused much of the problems). The village of Boscaslte was traditionally a quiet fishing village but more recently (and especially since the floods of 2004) it has become a popular tourist attraction.
