They tackle everyday challenges faced by the 1.5 million habitants including, getting a job, cleaning the public loos and general survival.

An illegal slum (Kenyan Government have termed the slum illegal- this means they are not responsible for providing basic sanitation or electricity)
80% of the residents earn less than $1 a day
1 in 3 children fail to live behond 5 years of age
